System Looking for a Supply Chain Manager
Caretex is an international company of Danish origin, delivering worldwide from our main production facility in Thailand. We are the leading manufacturer of high quality and custommade liners used for container transport of various dry bulk materials in the global market. We consider product quality, development and customer services to be the focus points paving the way to fulfill our vision of being the preferred supplier of dry bulk solutions.

To support further development towards our vision, we are looking for a well qualified Supply Chain Manager.

Basically, the Supply Chain Manager's main objective is to drive the Caretex Group's Supply Chain to deliver best-in-class order fulfillment in a make-to-order environment.

This requires development of strategies, defining best practices and execution of these by directing and supervising the activities of Procurement, Planning, Inventories, Logistic and Quality Control functions while coordinating internally with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting and Customer Relation as well as externally with our Customers and Suppliers.

To head this position, we are looking for an expat with proper educational background as well as some years of experience and a proven track record from supply chain, logistics, planning or purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment; preferably with some managerial experience as well as experience with ERP/MRP planning and control systems.

The ideal candidate possess' very well developed communication skills and a complete understanding of the entire end-to-end supply chain process. Due to the extensive responsibilities, this position takes a well-organized personality with well developed analytical mindset; a person capable of dealing with complex works, and ability to successfully prioritize, manage and allocate resources to multiple competing priorities simultaneously. A self-driven and pro-active candidate with ability to generate improvements even under pressure is required for this new position.

Your primary job site will be our manufacturing plant in Laem Chabang, Thailand, but as the position includes responsibility for suppliers abroad, some travelling should be expected.
